Edge Peele VS. Warranty

So i have only ridden my volkl bridges twice this season, and the edges are already peeling, im pretty much over it because its been a couple of days now since it has happened, but my parents think that this will be covered by warranty and want me to take my skis into my local shop, so i can waste my time having them tell me something i already know, it isnt covered by warranty.... anyone else had to deal with something like this? Am i right?

Define "edges'...like the actual metal edge? the sidewall? or the edge of the topsheet?

My guess it's the topsheet, which isn't covered by warranty because it comes from your skis hitting each other, it's not a factory defect (unless it's an actual delam). Topsheet chipping is super common with skis, it happens from crossing skis, falling, and clapping your skis together on the lift. It's really best to just ignore it, if you really want your can file off the frays and it'll help prevent it...but it's really just cosmetic.

If you are trying to warranty these skis you need to take them to the shop you bought them from or to an authorized Volkl retailer with your receipt. See the stickied thread at the top of the page for warranty details.

Yes, I have hit rails, and I don't have a camera right now, like my edge cracked and pulled out of the sidewall

OP didn't detune edges before hitting rails. I wouldn't expect a warranty replacement.

LOL auto correct Peele is an area near where I live, I saved it on my tablet and now whenever I type peel it auto corrects, and yeah, first off it does second off it was the entire edge that pulled out from the ski

Not always. A ski may still be warrantied for damage which was not a direct result of impact damage even if the ski had been used in the park.

Op take them back to the shop you got them from and have them take a look at them. If they think its worth sending back they should organise all tht for you.
