So finals just finished up and I am about to drive home from college. I have been so busy with school I haven't been able to get out and shoot at all. I feel like I need to take advantage of this upcoming break and try to capture something great. I'm looking for inspiration!
So… What will you guys be shooting over winter break??
Skiing obviously but anything specific?
Anything you're super stoked on?
Any ideas on how to get back into picture taking mode?
Getting some new equipment?
Trying something new?
Happy Holidays M&A

First.
I'm looking forward to taking some star photography at the mountain. Once school rolls around again I'll be skiing with the team again and am stoked to get some shots of them a lot of them throw down. I also want to experiment with portraits over break, as I've never really done that and I feel like being able to take a professional looking portrait is essential to call yourself a photographer.

I have one more final tomorrow, flying home to Colorado on thursday then a couple weeks of craziness.
Shooting Grand Prix this weekend
Starting a video piece this weekend/early next week (haven't done that for a while)
Utah Urban shooting the week between Christmas and New Years
A week in the CO backcountry right after New Years
Then chilling, shooting and editing the video piece until I go back to school.
Should be crazy, but super cool. I'm stoked to be busy again, especially after a shitty start to the winter out here in Washington.

Hopefully will have a series of jobs coming up. Shooting a rail jam for Telluride on Saturday. Then maybe filming up in Breck and copper later on. Then hopefully some local urban, backcountry and park shoots in Durango.

I've been using my new T3i and flycam at the mountain, now that the lift is running it'll be nice to try out some followcams and such.

Lotta filming. Gonna vary up the angles, make sure to get a lot of tripod shots instead of being so glidecam reliant. Also hopefully I'll get on that urban game, too.

Gotta get them urban shots, hit two so far, but twho of the people I shoot with being on the provincial pipe team makes it hard to shoot, and they were just gone to CO for a month, so when they get back time to film and get pics! And I wanna just start getting back into the habit of taking shots at least once a week.

im almost the opposite. i came home from school and have not had shot as much. when i go back to norway i will be shooting a bunch more. partially because the snow has been so crappy in washington but i really need to just take my camera with me more often. i regret not having it in the car so often.

might be a few days until I actually get to shoot some skiing, but I'm excited to be home, and I'm setting up my cameras for skiing tonight
All times are Eastern (-5)
