I just currently overheard these two fifteen year old girls talk about the most disgusting shit. One was talking about how she thinks shes pregnant and how happy she'll be when she sees red. The other was talking about how her mom bought the wrong condoms and how her 19yo boyfriend pulled out and the condom was just on the tip of his schlong, just ripped. We're in a room of about 40 people and I guess they just don't give a shit about who hears them. What are some gross things you've heard sluts talk about?

I personally like having sex, and in my experience, a lot of women like it too. However, I'm a man so society let's me enjoy sex and doesn't judge me. Women on the other hand, are called "sluts" and "whores" if they are sexually active outside of marriage. They are judged and made to feel less of themselves for wanting the same thing most men want. This makes them less willing to embrace their sexuality so that they can avoid this societal judgement. That means there are going to be less women who are willing to have sex with me an all the other members of this website who aren't virgins still. Now, there's nothing wrong with being a virgin, I was for a long time and I hated being judged for it (men are judged for being virgins negatively much like women are judged for being "sluts"), but don't call girls who have decided to be sexually active "sluts" just because you haven't yet met one that wants to fuck you. Don't worry, you will. Just focus on the things that are important to you, strive to be a better person, and eventually a girl is gonna notice that, and you'll wish you didn't call her a "slut."

I mean if they were talking abnormally loudly about anything in a public place that's rude, but if someone is speaking in a public place at a normal volume about a topic that I don't want to hear about, I see it as incumbent upon myself to not pay attention or move if I'm really bothered. If they don't mind me hearing it, I don't mind them saying it.

That's not your fucking decision to make. There are risks associated with sexual activity, and anyone who doesn't understand them and fully comprehend what sex is shouldn't be having it, but there's no exact age where this transformation happens for all people, and calling women who start having sex young "sluts" doesn't help a god damned thing.

Actually, no there isn't. Its all one in the same. By slut shaming you're creating a double standard by which men are applauded and women are demonized for the same act. When you do that, you're taking away a woman's identity and ability to act on her on grounds by belittling her and saying that she is below a man. Men can have sex willy nilly, but a woman, oh nay stay in the kitchen and stay a virgin until a man can liberate you. And if you don't want that man to free you? Better luck next time sister, you're getting a good ole fashioned fucking anyways.

For dumb people: if you slut shame you're victim blaming, just out of the context of rape.


All roads end the same place. Slut shaming is the exact same as victim blaming, just in different context, and they all run together to promote rape culture.

So quit fucking doing it. You have absolutely no right to call someone else a slut unless you are chaste.

I'm not saying that either is ok, just that they are different in that, like you said, one is in the context of rape and one isn't. Promiscuity is stigmatized, but much more consequential for women than it is for men (it does exist for men too). Although there may be both biological and psychological reasoning behind the stigma, there should be no reason to belittle others because of it.

On the topic of the OP, why bother talking about it in public? Is that necessary?
I think that may be chalked up to immaturity and lack of tact and discretion.

If she gets pregnant, than who can take care of the kid? Just saying that in my opinion sexual activity shouldn't really start until someone is able to take care of a child and themselves should something, god forbid, go wrong.

15 is fucking young for that shit, especially with a 19 year old boyfriend and you know it.

Does calling girls "sluts" and "whores" prevent unplanned pregnancy? No, so stop fucking doing it. If you want to reduce unplanned pregnancy you need comprehensive sex education and access to contraceptives. I don't give a shit what you think is the right age, you can choose to lose your virginity at whatever age is best for you but don't go around telling other people what to do. The best way to have young people make good choices about sex is to educate them, not indoctrinate and shame them.

There's nothing wrong with girls doin' it a lot, but age 15 is fully a little young. At age 15 you're hardly equipped to deal with an accident and it would suck to pick something nasty up and carry it with you for the rest of your life.

This doesn't have anything to do with slut shaming, its more about the grotesque irresponsibility of todays youth! Them whippersnappers will be the death of this world!

A girl only deserves to be called out for getting booty if 1. the guy was someone she should not be fucking ie a friends dad or boyfriend or 2. not practicing safe sex meaning raw dogging multiple people in a short time frame and transmitting stds or being shitty at birth control and having bastard children.


Everything else is complete bullshit and a double standard like you say.  And changing the attitude should begin with other women not looking down on each other because one is more physically attractive and thus gets more sex.
