Expanding banner ads

anybody else think that the ads that are in the top banner that expand are annoying as hell? like if i move my mouse a tiny bit past the forums tab the banner expands into this massive thing that takes up like half the page. and then you have to wait a second for it to go away

its not a huge deal, its just annoying as hell.

Agreed. Also, when using a touchpad and dragging down the scroll bar I have inadvertently gone to Alta's website and the Dew Tour website dozens of times. NS ads have gotten far more obnoxious than they used to be. Just look around the website. Literally every place that is not a specific feature is an ad. I understand that ads pay the bills (and earn the profits) but I think things have gone a bit over the top recently.
