Fire these idiots and hire people who actually know shit about skiing. I know it's an insane idea but announcers should be KNOWLEDGEABLE about what they're watching. I can't believe how half-assed they're handling this.

Unless it's LVV talking, I'm able to just tune it out and focus on the skiing. Commentating doesn't really affect me that much when I'm watching skiing. It's really not that big of a deal.

Y not place one current slopestyle guy who missed qualifying by a spot and put him in the booth with these nbc guys, it would help expose a rider not in finals and help with the announcing .......

Yeah but that doesn't really mean that's what should happen. You don't have to tune out the announcers in a hockey, baseball, or soccer game, they practically are the reason it's fun to watch. All other sports (maybe not football, I can't stand some of the announcers) have awesome commentary that actually tells you what's going on, why not in skiing? It's not like there is a shortage of people who know what they're talking about.

Exactly and I'm one of those people. Apparently they don't want quality announcing for the fraction of the price of what they're paying these morons. At least they got it right with LVV.

I thought the course announcers did just fine. I did however feel alternately awkward for both Andrew Cannon and Mike Rogge on the livestream commentary.

I got so fed up with almost anyone having anything to to with this event? Why the pro skateboarder, he dosen't know shit about skiing? why not a skier that didn't compete? Rogge did okay, considering he had to stand next to than goon.. Only one i liked was the stoned girl earlier standing in the bottom of the course..

Henrik would do a lot of damage. Bad damage. Kid should not be allowed near microphones or cameras. Kind of like how they didn't give him any type of Live Interviews at X a right after he threw the trick.

I like his positive attitude and he's a sick skier, but its pretty fucking embarrassing when it comes to the barking and the Wu/Tupac references, dreads, grills, and gang signs.

i'm gonna play devils advocate here for a second. announcing for our sport is super hard because they have to name the feature, name the trick, explain it to those who have no idea what it means, then comment on the execution (missed grab, bad landing etc) in like a

weird it cut off the rest of my comment. continuing, in like a less than 10 second interval. its always going to be a big jumbled, even when lvv and mike douglas were doing it.

that said, this dew tour was exceptionally bad, at least get someone who actually knows the names of the tricks.
