Snowshoe?

Not sure if this will get anything, but i moved to VA a few months ago and I would like to shred this weekend. Worth the drive up to Snowshoe? Any locals lurking around here?!?!?!?!?!?

Hey Im from germany moved in the DC area this year! I thought to go skiing requires minimum 8h driving :D So is WV also ok?

Hell yeah, i will hit you up around Mid- January when i'm back. I live in "Historic" Petersburg. One of my friends just moved to Alexandria as well so i will definitely be in the area!

you can hit massanutten in probably <3 hours, wintergreen in 4 hours

but snowshoe is probably about the same distance

also PA closenuff too

my rule is if you drive 8 hours you're better offflying instead

I met people from DC over this past weekend and they say they go to Liberty in PA the most, does that sound right? What's that like? Out of curiosity

I live in Richmond, VA 30 min north of Petersburg. I have always enjoyed snowshoe more than the others listed above (wintergreen, massanuten). I'm heading up to snowshoe Monday Jan. 13-14 if your looking to catch a ride. Hit me up anytime your looking for someone to ride with! 804-512-0138
