RIP Claire Davis
It is just so sad that her and her family, friends, and the whole school had to go through this whole ordeal. Thoughts out to her family especially, could you imagine waking up every day to think that you used to have a beautiful, loving daughter?
This stuff will be hanging over everyone who had any connection to what happened last Friday. There will always be a dark spot in the hearts of many. Even just people who go to Arapahoe will always be someone who attended a school that had a shooting.
I have been to the Columbine memorial and I wasn't really affected, just saddened slightly. But now it is just so much closer to home. There is evil even in seemingly safe places. School isn't always a happy place anymore, Arapahoe to me is now a source of some deep, dark thoughts and it will be a long road for many to be able to get back to "normal" school life.
To anyone who might be dealing with depression, or has any pent up anger, or anything of the like, I encourage you to talk it out instead of making brash decisions that have eternal effects. Even if you are a dude, you aren't a pussy if you have to talk to a counselor or a parent or anyone who can help you.
Sorry if that was poorly worded, but I'm not very good at expressing feelings in words.
