Off work today to tile my bathroom and I've been watching the news nonstop.

Shooter is dead (shot himself)
One girl in surgery - critical condition
One other student with minor injuries.

Reports of possible device (malotov cocktail is the rumor) in school. They're investigating.

Vibes out to all students. Always a scary time and hits home when it's happening to your own demographic.

Damn, I have been hearing rumors of who the shooter was. I really just don't know what to think because some of the news stories described it as a really fucked up story with the military uniform and stuff. He never struck me as a bad kid and he had friends and stuff.

On a lighter note, it was funny to watch a group of stoners stressing out because they had some "illicit" material in their backpacks which they had to leave at school . The whole school is probably going to get searched top to bottom lol.

This was one of the most awful experiences I have had. I can tell you that SFB is okay, he made it out to the Burger King. Hearing shots in the middle of math class is one of the worst things i have experienced and the extreme horror on people's faces as you are told to get up and sprint out of the building with assault rifles all around you and blood on the walls as you are finally getting out. People were in a craze trying to find siblings and the staff had no idea what to do either. Awful.

I would also like to add that the kid who did this was not known as a bad kid. People knew he had some anger issues but this is just unspeakable. My thoughts go out to all of the families truly effected by this event. Everyone present is pulling for you too.

I got to a high school maybe just over a mile away and we went into lockdown. One student confronted the shooter and was shot so props to him and vibes to him.

Just wanted to say that I go to Arapahoe and it was the scariest moment of my life. Everyone should be thankful of their loved ones. Im still shaking right now. thankful that i have skiing to fall back on and that my friends and I were ok.

I go to arapahoe and it was so scary. thankful that im alive and safe. I was in math and we heard three really loud shots and then we hid in the corner of the class. we could hear screaming and sirens and then the swat team came and we had to sprint out of the school because the shooter had a bomb.

My school went through this two years ago. Vibes to your entire community. You're going to see a ton of media spotlight that will misconstrue most of what happened, and the next few days will feel like a haze. Just chill with your friends a lot, it'll help get things back to normal quicker.
