i dont think its as simple as kids not wanting to get help. mental health in teens and young adults is a total hot topic right now, and its true that a lot of self-destructive young people could be diffused through therapy or talking about shit. however, i think that a lot of young people just dont realize that they need it. I know a few people who I have recently found out dealt with depression and self esteem issues in secrecy for almost as long as ive known them, but you could never tell. sometimes im not even sure if they can tell, or when it gets to the point that they truly do need to talk to someone about it

Standard. Fuck this kind of shit and people like this. This is what happens when you make Eric Harris, Dylan Klebold, Adam Lanza, That asian guy and James Holmes out to be martyrs. Others want to go out with a bang. It's a shame I even know their names.

Side note, schools need to come up with something better than "lock downs" to deal with situations like this.
