By looking at the specs, its a very cheaply made jacket compared to Oakley's previous puffys. The waterproofing is terrible. This jacket will be perfect on very cold, dry, sunny days in the park, but other than that you will probably be wet and hot.

its a great coat. Not as warm as the other ones, but just by a little bit. Get the incubator.

If you can find the incubator, definately buy that instead. Hell, if you find an incubator, let me know because i would give my left nut for a small white one.

i ordered the 2.4 in a greenish tan color, it's extremely puffy so it should be very warm. don't expect any puffy's to be waterproof

my experience is that some puffys are more waterproofed than others.

my burton puffy has a 20,000MM Entrant SP coating. which is pretty sweet, and it's not crazy ass puffy.

i think a lot of people use puffys as undercoat. so that might be why its not waterproof.

i use it as both. i have 2 burton ones.

Down AK - outer and inner

Helium AK - only works well as an inner or on a warmer day.
