Downgrading from ios7

Hey guys, would it be possible for an iphone 4 user to downgrade from ios7 to ios6 by jailbreaking his iphone? My phone is struggling with the update and I am wondering if I should buy another iphone with ios 6 instead. I asked google with no luck...

I'm pretty sure you can but I don't think that there is a jailbreak version for ios 7

I'd suggest getting a 4s, mine's running ios7 perfectly.

I was trying last week for a while. I don't think the jailbreak has come out yet, I heard it was supposed to come out sometime in January.

Actually I just wish I could get the old messaging format back. There are a few features I really like about 7. I just think the new format is very elementary.

search for the downloadable ios6 file and learn everything on how to do it before you do it

downgrading is always complicated, especially with bigger update (7 to 6 instead of something like 6.1 to 6.0). If you can't figure it out, I wouldn't suggest spending money on another iphone 4, at least go for the 4s, or you could maybe even find a 5 that hasn't been upgraded if it is in your budget.

That seems to be my option... It'll cost around 300$ i think for an iphone 5.I just have to check if the phones that are brand new come with ios 6 or ios7

i was running ios 6, and snow leopard up until a month or two ago. i regret updating them so much now. i used to have an iphone 4, which i've read that you may be able to downgrade, but now ive got a 5 so im stuck with ios 7 and its very shitty music player. itunes on the computer is now also absolutely fucked for people with big libraries or a lot of single released songs not from albums. it used to be so much more organized than it now, and they've added so many useless features that only make navigating through your music a pain.

My phone has become a lot slower in general, but especially when I am switching apps. Also, text messaging has been functioning incorrectly, but it could be my carrier's fault. I liked the fact that with ios6 my phone was running really well and I have the impression that the A4 processor on the iphone 4 is not powerful enough for ios 7. I find it very frustrating that my phone got downgraded with an ''update''.
