Lens adapters for canon

Ok so i have just a olympus e-520( it's pretty damn old). I want to upgrade to a canon 60D body. I have an Olympus 14-42 lens for the camera.

First off, is it worth keeping the lens or should I just upgrade the entire thing and ditch the Olympus lens.?

Second if i should keep it, what kind of lens adapter do i need? What's the difference between lets say a $16 one and a $65 one?

lens isn't worth keeping, and even if it was, you can't adapt it to canon. It won't cover the sensor and the focal flange distance is further. check out this link:

look at your camera system, and look at the distance. You can usually use anything where the distance is further (as long as it isn't a very small difference, there needs to be space for the adapter)

in general though, the cheap adapter will usually work alright, the nicer ones it is a guaranteed fit/built to last. Then there are also some now that use electronics, as well as speedboosters (some are active, some passive).
