Goepper without poles?

was watching dew tour and i noticed goepper wasn't using poles? Personally i find he looks awkward with out his poles, This is not a hate thread but what does everyone else think about his decision?

I thought he looked like a gaper between the jumps. He was swiveling his hips and shit. Nice landings though.
