I have a $120 Visa gift card I received as a gift, that I'm looking to trade for you to paypal $120 (as a gift).
I'm trying to make a purchase off a website, but they don't accept gift cards.
I just double checked the balance on the card, and it's good to go. I'll message/email/IM you the card and numbers (or mail it to you if you want).
Check my feedback to see I'm not sketchy or trying to rip you off, I'm just trying to make this purchase today.

Did you try to add money to your account using the giftcard? You have had to have verified your account with paypal first though I think.

I like your idea. I tried a bunch of different ways, and it appears it's not possible to add a gift card to your paypal.

yes it is, I've done it at least 15 times. you just add it in as a regular visa card.

Did that.
But here's my dilemma, I'd go immediately pull the money out of my paypal account at an ATM, to deposit into my checking acount. ( I'd do this, because otherwise I'd have to wait 3-4 days to transfer it over the internet).
But when I pull it from the ATM, I have no control over where it pulls the money from, so it would automatically pull from my checking account, and not the Gift Card.
If I can get someone to just paypal me the money, then it would make the process much easier.

But you said you wanted to pay with paypal cause youre shopping online. Even with money in your paypal it takes 3-4 days to transfer to your bank. And you can definitely pay through paypal with a visa gift card... So what you're actually saying is you actually want cash for your visa gift card?

if it's on your paypal why would you withdraw it to make a purchase online?

Sorry, should have been more thorough. I'm shopping on Smith's website. They don't accept gift cards, and I also can't pay them with paypal. Only credit/debit cards. This is why I'm trying to trade the gift card.
What I would do is withdraw the $120 through an ATM using my paypal credit card, and deposit the cash into my checking account, where I could therefore shop on Smith's website.
And yes, in the end, I need the cash for the gift card. But unless someone here is a Salt Lake City local, the paypal method would be the way to go.

get the paypal swipe thing. I have it for my business and its awesome and has low fees. then all you would have needed to do is swipe the card into your paypal and it converts to cash. super easy

You have to add your address to the card. After that the store will treat it as a regular credit card
