Nope. Skip it. I saw it the other day hoping for an awesome film, very disappointing. Not at all what you think its going to be.

That being said. I enjoyed the movie, but I would have been fine if I never saw it in theaters and caught it on DVD.

I loved it honestly. Best drama I've seen since Prisoners. I just think audiences can't handle this type of slow burn drama anymore because they need to see CGI explosions every 5 minutes.

Well that's what I heard is that it is very similar to Prisoners. Prisoners was decent but it was almost 3 hours long and it just wasn't worth it

It just wasn't what I expected it to be. I thought it was a good movie and Bale did a phenomenal job in the movie, but don't go in expecting an action packed thriller.

This, just saw it today. I liked it a lot because I read that it wasn't an action packed movie so I didn't go in with those expectations. It was a very well made movie and would definitely recommend it for someone in search of a dramatic type thriller.

For some reason I expected a brother goes into the furnace, Christian Bale goes in and gets him, kills everyone boom boom pow yay. It was still a good movie, but no boom boom pow yay.

I'm planning on it being just a really sick and heavy drama/thriller, so I think I'll be stoked. The actor line up is pretty badass as well.

I agree with you though, it sucks how CGI explosions are what cinema is all about these days. It's retarded and sad.
