I was in the same situation for a little while. Work hard play hard.
First year of college I was really lost as to what I was doing and screwing around and it set me back.
Pulled my shit together and now I've got a kick ass job, ski all the time, passing all my courses, and having a great time with life.
Studying is always going to suck and I hate doing it, but use the skiing / other fun things as motivation, take breaks here and there. It's going to be worth it in the future even though it never seems that way at the time.
Come to UNR! Pretty easy to get in, good school, 6+ mountains within less than an hours drive.
And, something that is always motivating...
