Replying to What to do while waiting in line for a concert?

Olimar:
Im going to see Flosstradamus this friday in D.C. and im going to attempted to get a front row spot with some of my buddies. Its sold out so this means that we are going to have to wait in line for a pretty damn long time. and its going to be freezing.

So I was just wondering, how can we stay occupied while waiting for the concert to open? Preferably things that we could do together opposed to just watching movies or playing games on our phones. Also, would bringing camping/tailgating chairs be a bad idea? Think the coat check would take them at the venue?

TL;DR: How can I make waiting in line for a concert bearable? Should I take chairs?
