the doors + snoop dog

has anyone heard that collaboration between the doors and snoop dog on 'riders on the storm'? Its supposed to be for Need for Speed's new soundtrack. they used morrison's master vocals from the original song and laid snoop dog's ovber his. personally, i think it ruins one of the greatest classic rock songs ever created, but see for yourself. www.thedoors.com

no. no no no no no no. you DO NOT COVER ANY DOORS SONGS. NONE. The purpose of covering songs is to put your personal-flair on a song, or to make it better. there is no way to make any of their songs any better, unless you were to revive jim from the dead.... but this remix is just disgusting.

respect between artists of completly different backgrounds, genres, lifestyles, everything. thats pretty sick. what wasnt sick however was that cover. it wasnt bad but when compared to the original... its shit

the doors were good, amazing even...but they weren't that talented. they had plenty of vision and not enough talent to back it up.
