I am getting a pair of skis and am trying to figure out which ski is better. The things i look for in a ski are light OR extremely buttery. Which of these is lightest and which is better for buttering? For reference i want the 158 cm model in either ski. I am 5' 6 and weigh 125 lbs which may help. +K to those who help!
how old are you... are you competing yet?? if so i would get the rossignol scratch skis, if you just want them for fun and to mess around on i would get the slate and if you are just beginning to compete at park get the sprayer opens... hope this helps
S4 is very light (3 kg / 6.5 lbs for a pair), but it's stiff. If you want a buttery ski, look elsewhere. You may want to consider a rockered ski, rocker makes buttering easier.
