Keystone park crew is not killing it

I guess Colorado has had some pretty shitty weather the past week and with the big jump open, no one was really able to hit it because of snow and wind. The weather has cleared up this week and they are now choosing to close the jump the week before Dew and World cup.

Kind of a bummer for all of the euros, and anyone else who went to Colorado a couple weeks early to train for the world cup.

In the first status they said it would be opened by the weekend yet everyone felt it was necessary to bitch them out. So absurd.

Thats because many of the athletes go over to Keystone to practice for the Dew Tour slopestyle, and qualifiers start today! By the weekend it's too late for the Dew competitors.

I understand where all the Europeans are coming from, but this is stupid. These guys are sitting on facebook bitching, while Henrik doesn't give a fuck and is just having fun on some mellow jumps. Yet Henrik will beat all of these people in comps later this season...

Tanner Hall is on the right schedule. Just chilled in Summit for a month lapping rails, filiming, and having a good time. Now he is up in BC shredding Pow. Fuck all of this "training big rotations" for comps...

I think it's dope when people can kick it mellow for a bit and just chill then bust out big shit at a contest and do well. That's not everyone though.

When you're talking about hitting 65 and throwing the biggest rotations you can, it's nice to have some time to practice them/ learn some new shit and make sure you're ready. People want to do well and nobody wants to get hurt.

Thanks to social media everyone's frustrations instantly end up jammed into a status on facebook. I'm not saying that it's helpful to tear up that page, just saying that you're attitude of "fuck training that shit is stupid" is kind of ridiculous.

i dont understand, wouldn't the same people be negatively affected if they had to ride shitty usafe jumps that needed to be rebuilt.

It doesn't matter. Keep in mind keystone doesn't host either world cups or dew tour. Therefore they don't need to open big line until they are ready. They had big line up on November 30th (which is incredible). They had a chance to train there. Keystone deserves appreciation, there park is all time.
