The design contest winner designed a flat, wide box on an angle straight into the next set of rail features. The course mock up on sketch up showed it like that, and Russ Henshaw's blog the other day described it as being 'weird'. But in Sammy Carlson's video (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=562275587184896&set=vb.163678300377962&type=2&theater) you can see right at the end that the feature has been split in two, presumably so the skiers can skip the box if they want to. Thoughts?
They changed it to make it fit the course better. At that point in the run, Freeway turns to the left, so had they left the wallride together, it would have made weird spacing between rails. Any one that skips the wallride is going to miss out on huge points.
