Most Annoying Christmas Song

What is the Christmas song that pisses you off every time you hear it? Everyone has one. There are a ton of annoying Christmas carols, but my least favorite has to be fucking Christmas Shoes.

Okay, look, it's Christmas. It's a joyful holiday to spend with family, and the point of a Christmas song is to bring joy and happiness to the holiday season. I don't want to listen to some sap story about some kid's mom who dies on Christmas and he buys her a pair of dumb shoes post-mortem. Fuck that shit.

Add to that the fact that the song was released by a label named Benson Records, and I feel even more like a piece of shit for having my name involved with the saddest Christmas song ever.

Depressing Christmas songs suck. What's your least favorite?

Although, whoever wrote "I want a hippopotamus for christmas" should definitely die in a fire.

I hate Same Old Lang Syne too. In case you don't know that one by name, it's the Dan Fogelberg one about him running into his old slampiece at the grocery store, and they get drunk in her car or something. You know, "We drank a toast to innocence, we drank a toast to .." Another fucking depressing Christmas song, not to mention it doesn't mention Christmas or the holidays at all. People just associate it with Christmas because the song takes place on Christmas Eve and because of the title.

and a close second runner up would be that damn Dominic the Donkey song. I blame the high suicide rate of the holidays on these songs alone.........ok maybe these two songs and faulty christmas light bulbs.

The only Christmas song I don't enjoy is from back like in the '40s I think. There's a lady singing it and she's really nasally. It's so annoying. Sorry I can't remember what it's called, it ends with her singing "last niigghhhtt"

No, it plays off the title of Auld Lang Syne. It's an original song by Dan Fogelberg, if you don't know what it is and haven't heard of it, consider yourself lucky.

You're probably thinking of the Michael Jackson version back when he was young in the Jackson 5 days.

The nasally '40s lady he's talking about is Brenda Lee, I think. Yes, I know way too much useless info about Christmas music.
