Snow pant sizing

Im 5'6"ish and im looking at some medium first drop snow pants. Would they be too short?

I'm about the same size as you, and have M sized Quiksilver pants. Aside from being a tad wide in the waist (I'm a 30/31) they're plenty long.

Im 5'10 and have first drop L, pretty baggy like that. (V3, dunno about the new stuff)
