I like what I've seen so far about the Nordica OMW ski but haven't heard what too many people have to say about it.. I ski K2's Recoil right now and I love it just looking for something a little more playful.. Was also checking out Armada's Halo 2. I ski mostly jumps, about 15-60 ft. but I have been getting into a lot more rails recently and my sidewall on my K2's is beginning to blow out :(
From what I've heard, the OMW's are actually a stiffer ski. Still awesome though, should get all your jib needs accomplished with no problems, with a playful flex when leaned into it
I was just posting in the other thread that I just recently rode the Soul Riders for the past couple of weeks. Also a fun ski, however the weren't nearly as soft as I thought they were going to be based off the Nordica's recent edits. Definitely more of a sturdy, stable ski right out of the package then the noodle I expected
Thanks guys. Don't think I wanna go with the Soul Riders though. Yeah I know the Alpha X's are pretty stiff and stable that why I was thinking of the Halo 2 also but the sidecut is a little weird and the tails seem like they are really skinny considered to how fat the front tips of the skis are. I'm backyards just as much as forwards so I wasn't sure how that was going to effect anything if it will. Mike Hornbeck claim's they are so durable and he's only had one par the whole year but every video he has he doesn't even ride them.. He's usually on the Alpha X's so idk. Seem like a fun ski but the Al Dante's seem way softer then I would like.
