So my shopped fucked up my mount

So while i was getting my skis that my shopped just mounted (charging me 50 bucks) I asked for center mount. Anyways i went to pick them up and they mounted them -2.5 cm back. they said the reason was because they didn't want to mount it on top of the old binding holes because they say its unsafe for them to mount them there. Is this true? anyways im kind of mad because these were going to be my park only skis for the year and now i have to deal with this.
so basically how will the anthems perform with a -2.5 mount instead of center

They could have put helicoils in the old holes. I would give them shit because they should have called you before they did it.

Yeah this. Usually when there's that circumstance in the shop I work at we try and get it as close as we can to center without going too close to the existing holes. It sounds like they just mounted at recommended instead of trying to get it close to center, is that the case or did they tell you they tried to get it as close as possible?

Anthems are symmetrical, you'd probs want to be centered. oh well

well they did contact me but it was after they mounted them but they say that is the closet they could,ve got

yeah then it really isn't their fault. There's liability issues with drilling holes too close to other holes as it could be unsafe.
