Rose Bowl Hype

I know that a lot of people wont care but I'm too pumped not to share. Michigan State has made the rose bowl and is gonna kick some stanford ass. I'm part of the marching band and cant wait to make the trip to Pasadena!

Honestly, it would be a better game with Ohio State-Stanford. As long as Stanford shows up, it should be a Stanford victory. Stanford played ASU really tough and it was probably one of their better games of the year. Bummer that the Pac 12 ate itself up this year. I would've liked to see Stanford in the natty and Oregon in the Rose Bowl.

I think it will be a good game. Msu has the best defense in the nation and the offense has been improving every game. I think Stanford will be a tough opponent but that msu has a chance. Im just hyped to even being able to go to the game.

Very similar teams.

I usually go for the underdog when teams are mirror images of each other (like last years Super Bowl I hated the Ravens and like SF but knew they were a perfect foil for a better team) but Im not sure Sparty puts up enough points.

Still could be wrong and Mich St is a perfect fit to beat Stanford.  Decent game.


Actually think the pre New Years Day bowls are great and the National Championship game will be great but the other BCS games will suck.  If Stanford-Sparty is your best matchup that blows.  The FAKE Cotton Bowl that isn't even at the Cotton Bowl and is on Jan 3 between Okie St and Mizzou is better than friggen OU-Bama, UCF-Baylor, and Clemson-OSU.  Damn those 3 games suck dick.  Why couldn't they matchup Baylor with Clemson or Bama?  UCF playing OSU or OU would have been a fine game but them playing Baylor sucks.

Well, going to Iowa I'm actually pretty stoked for the Outback Bowl. Iowa vs LSU. Granted, it's gonna be a blowout and LSU will KILL us. But that is a WAY better result than I was ever expecting out of our team this year. It's my senior year, and I'm tempted to go to the bowl game this year.

Just saw the bowl schedule. This game has some potential, along with a few others. As long as the championship game is better than last year.

I'd also like to give a shout out to my alma mater, the University of buffalo, on their trip to the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. Go Bulls!

I'll be pulling for stanford, but that team has been very unclutch this year and I won't be surprised to see them lose. They lost to Utah AND USC this year. neither of those teams are bad but they're mediocre at best right now. Anyways, my roomate is a MSU alum so that will be an exciting game either way

Bump. Now that it's a day away I'm pretty pumped for this game. Should be better than I originally anticipated. Both teams sold their allotment of tickets and I'm glad Michigan State is back, it's been awhile for them. With that said, Go Cardinal!

Stanford's play calling was terrible. Way too conservative on a lot of occasions. MSU's defense just had them nervous for three of the four quarters. Pretty bummed about the loss but it was a great game.
