I have no idea if this is true but I dont know of anyone that has done double on a park jump at age 31!?! Either way I am so happy that my body can still do this as the feeling of hucking a double is just surreal! Since I have only done one double in the last 25 months I will admit that I was pretty nervous for how it would work this time around. Especially as I dont really know how to do it, I know how to set it of the kicker but once I leave the snow its all autopilot in my head. Luckily for me I landed 4 dubs just as good as I did when I did nothing but jumping! Its kind of crazy how powerful the mind is when you trust it!
Had such a fantastic time in Tandådalen as the kicker made me very confident right off the bat. I even tried a few cork 3s that I have not done in about 4 years! I actually think I need to jump more in the future as I feel that is great for my ski racing. I brings me back and reminds me that I am a pretty decent skier, and most of all it brings pure joy to my skiing! So enjoys the pics from Oskar Bakke and thanks to Betsafe for getting him up there to get this shots in the book! Videos will be coming in a while but we need to sort all the shots first!
Nothing but stoke in my mind right now, I love that feeling!
And of course Candide killing it, throwing a dub in the park as well! He's 3 months older than Jon, so does that make him the oldest person to throw a double in the park?
