On an Up-Down rail last year at Afton, I was attempting a disaster to back 2. First attempt, hit it with a bit too much speed and didn't rotate the 2 out fast enough, landed sideways and erupted into a huge yard sale. Apparently I hit my head pretty hard because I immediately asked my friend if it'd be cool if I just took a nap there... and yes I was wearing a helmet.

Oh god I think I was there for that.

While I was visiting a buddy in Bemidji last year, there was a double barrel tranny find (which I did not know at the time) and I hit it with not enough speed and cleared the first barrel perfectly to slam straight down on the second barrel. then proceeded to do a somersault out

That or learning how to slide on corrugated pipes.

Back in 2003 in the big air finals in the Jr Nationals, the original plan was to land a 720. But at the last minute I thought it would be a good idea if I would tuck in the should to cork in out. I ate shit when I tried a cork 7. Broken left thumb...good thing Im a righty.

Well, ate shit just nollie-ing out of a flat box today. Went for a few runs around the hill and came back to the park unaware of the bomb-holed landings. Came off, threw a nollie, landed a bit to front-seat and went right into a double eject to face plant. I couldn't remember how it happened until a good hour later and I'll have a pretty awesome black eye tomorrow.

A double backflip. We had no time to make the jump and my din was very low. Both my skis popped off while i was going off the jump and things went poorly from there.

I did almost the exact same thing when trying my first back flip. Landed on a patch of ice and was out for a month after that. Not legit!

I also ate massive shit on my first few attempts at front flips. The first few times I just landed on my back, which was relatively okay since the jump was small. A while later I hucked it on a bc jump and had the misfortune of landing in a huge hole (a relic of a previous slam). This resulted in my feet stopping abruptly upon landing, which in turn made me slam my face full on into my knee. I had to throw my hoodie away because it got so bloodied down...

I tried carving really hard on a 3 off a little jump in the park and as I was carving one of my skis just popped off and I like instantly lost most of my speed and didn't like half a flat spin and then landed on my side on the deck
