I just bought it instead of yearbook because I saw so many posts on here. Cmon rip on me.
Hopefully I will be skiing the Big K in VT until January, and the other K in CA for the rest of the season.

It is one of my favorite ski movies ever made. Very different, very unconventional, but I absolutely loved it. The more I watch it, the more I like it too. There are some fantastic subtleties about it.

well that right there is a really good sign. the first time i see a movie is the time i like it the least.
you already like it and you havent even seen it enough to pick up on any of the subtleties

I'm usually not negative about things, especially ski movies. But in all honesty, I really wasn't that impressed. It just didn't have much flow to it, I really didn't like a number of the songs, and the majority of riding was bland.

Now don't get me wrong, I have much respect for the people that made the movie as well as the riders in it, I know a number of them - so I am not ragging on them personally. It just seemed very lacking.

Redtape is probably the best made ski movie i've ever seen. INCREDIBLE editing and artwork, amazing filming and angles.. Just incredible.

Now, the skiing in this film focuses heavily on style and such so there isnt a whole lot of insane tricks and things like in First Light or High 5. But if your looking for an amazing flick with good stylie skiing.. Redtape is the one!
