Bear Mountain

Going to Bear a few days after christmas as i will be in socal. i have never been there so how is the mountain. looks like its predominately snowboarders. Do you think that the trees will have enough snow in them in late december. The park looks pretty dope with the red bull features. if anyone is gonna be up there that time hmu.

you'll be there during "hell week" so there will 30 minute lift lines, and gapers galore. Yeah, you'll be one of the few skiers there as it is mostly snowboarders and i dont know if there will be enough snow to ski trees, there definitely isn't right now but we could get some more snow. Bear has a really sick park but seriously good luck with all the people there. I would suggest checking out night skiing at snow summit, that's where i'll be because thats typically a little less crowded.

I've got a buddy who lives in socal and I visited around this time last year and we hit up bear.. Parks super sick but as the other dude said lines might be brutal and yeah there are mad boarders but fuck it.. Regardless it's mad fun man, enjoy.

I live kind of near it. I'm about 2 hours away. I never saw bad lines but it was always late season. For no lines but shitty park hit snow valley or of you don't mind kind icy conditions, there's mountain high.

Maybe with the exception of a big recent snowstorm, Bear isn't the type of place you ski trees. Check out videos, there's rarely snow off the runs so we're talking bare dirt throughout. Sick park though as in half the mountain is park

I went there a few times last year. Yes is is just about nothing but snowboarders and asians. the park is freaking sweet like every one is saying. the few tree lines they do have are fun. Just be chill with every one and you will be fine. Your in so cal so yeah your going to have those jack ass living off of daddys money fuck tards.

you wont be able to ski trees
the features are fun,can get creative, different skill levels available
it will be crazy crowded but whatever, you're part of the problem so it doesn't matter
also who cares skier or boarder, everyone is having fun except for the people taking off their equipment and walking down the side of the trail.
if you want to shred as much as possible def night ski.

snow is dirty, slow after noon. you want to scrape/clean your bases every day (if not more) to keep speed. dont wax.
