The Life Glitch Thread

This is a thread dedicated to the documentation of coincidences and odd happenings in ones life that have no explanation and can only be explained by the universe glitching out

I'll start. First off, without fail since my birthday two years ago (February 23), I have seen the number 223 somewhere or in some way every single day without fail. Last week I thought I wasn't going to see it, and the second after I thought that I glanced at my trip counter in my car, which happened to be at 223.0 miles.

If anyone is interested in sharing their own life glitches, I'll be happy to post more of my long winded ones!

in starwars battlefront 2 you can be invincible if you go to the pause sreen and press ^^^<vvv<^^^<>

in call of duty if you back into a corner while priming a semtex you are invincible

Was on a river trip with my family a couple years ago. There was this big cliff overlooking the river next to camp and my brother, dad and I were throwing rocks off the top into the water. Now as anyone knows who has rafted, there are small swallows that fly around. I casually picked up a fist-sized rock and just lazily tossed it. We all watched it fall and then perfectly smack a swallow's wing and dunk it under the water. It resurfaced and flew off while we all just marveled in this freak force of nature that just occurred.

So about 3 years ago I had this buddy that went manic and all sorts of crazy. People were always telling me crazy stories about him because we were friends so long I got associated with him. Back then my good friend told me a story about how my crazy buddy was at this college party in albany at this mutual girls house. He left and came back hours later wasted and banging on the door. When they wouldn't let him in he punched a hole in the window in the door and let him self in. Some kid tried sticking up for the girl whose house it was but my buddy just rocked the dude in the face. They called the cops. He left. This was the straw that broke the camels back. I could not associate myself any longer with this type of crazy.
So now last week my old manic buddy is back around and seems to be on his meds and everything fine. He wants to get a season pass again this year and he is being normal so I decided to go to a party he was at to chill. He was wasted and picking the most random stories from the last few years to tell me. They all seemed sketchy. Then, he gets to the story about that college party in Albany, having no clue whatsoever that I heard one side of the story. I mean no clue. I heard the story through a good buddy that was mutual friends. He tells me how one time he remembers being in Albany lost, drunk and alone. He said he met a girl who brought him across town, but when she left he was wasted and confused. He told me it took him so long to figure out where he was. He said he got lucky and found a house he remembered. He knocked. They didn't let him in. He was drunk telling me how scared he was. It made me realize that he was a person, with feelings. That does not excuse him for punching some kid who was protecting this girls house. But I can tell from the story he had a sense of desperation.

Now, I don't mind hanging out with him. Some how his drunken self picked up on the fact that I needed to hear his side of the story. He felt scared and they were not letting him in. He probably felt dumb as shit. I can not blame him. But, he didn't know I was blaming him. Some how life glitched and he decided to tell me this embarrassing story. It all makes sense now, and I didn't even ask.


tl;dr Life is a simulation. Can you dig it?

One time my cousin and I were camped out on a field looking at the universe when all of a fucking sudden we saw this ufo. Now I'm not saying it was aliens, but it was fucking weird and pretty awesome looking. It was in the shape of a triangle, and had all kinds of lights on it. I remember seeing red, orange, white, purple, green and maybe some other ones. Obviously we just lay there agape at this huge thing flying over us. The creepiest part? It was dead silent. No noise whatsoever, even though it couldn't have been more than a km up, because the lights were so visible. Think of seeing a plane fly over at night, and you can distinguish it's shape well enough to see the lines where the metals bolted together. They make a fucking ton of noise when they're that close to you. This was dead silent. It flew in a straight line from when it entered our sight to when it left, leading us to think it was a satellite, but it was either too close or a satellite like 100x bigger than the ISS to be distinguishable from orbit.

So, got home and told my parents about it, drew them a picture because it's hard to describe exactly. Anyways, two weeks later, they were camped out in the field and apparently saw it too, because the next day my dad was freaking out. "It was so silent! And there were like 10 lights on it! What kind of plane has 10 lights on it? It was sooo weird!"

Anyways, I have multiple witnesses to this strange silent disco ball floating through the sky, and I can assure you I was on no drugs, but can not say the same for the rents, they might do all kinds of crazy shit behind my back.

tl;dr, I saw a ufo, and two weeks later my parents saw it as well. Little to no drugs were involved, if you want to read about it, ^.

Today I was about to get in my hot tub but I obviously needed a beer. No point in going in the hot tub without having a few brews. So I opened the fridge and I had to make a tough choice between 2 of my favorite beers when all of sudden my dog came by and her tail knocked a beer onto the floor thereby making the decision for me. Life glitch, probably not. My dogs great beer selecting skills... Yes

I dream about events that will happen the day. not every night though..

for example, last night i had a dream about my friend Nick skateboarding in my front yard and he fell on his ass pretty bad.
when i wake up,i always go onto twitter. Nick tweeted 30 minutes before i woke up that his ass hurt....

also a couple nights ago, i dreamt that i ran into my old landlord from 2 years ago.
that day, i received a call from him about one of my old roommates who never paid rent.....

i hope i am psychic hahaha
