#1. You're not British, you're American since you were born here. I wish you weren't. You have a British ancestry, and joint citizenship, but in the legal eyes of both the US and Britain you are a US citizen first.

#2. What nation invented America? Arguably Britain, but Britain didn't even want to invent it. Nice fuck up. When asked for a source of your own, the best you can do are some Saffa's you claim to have met? Was Mandela perfect? Not even close. But that doesn't change that he helped end the most violent and egregious example of a modern, systematic, racist government the world has seen since the same country you Brits almost lost to yourselves.

Actually with dual citizenship, both nations consider you to be theirs regardless.

I'm French and American. the French government considers me completely French, and the US government considers me completely American.

yes i would agree that both of those are less than perfect. But in the end i really believe he was one of the better and more compassionate yet also active humans to have ever lived. He was still far from perfect.
