Line Pollards Opus with dynafit radical ST vs FT

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has any experience of skiing tech bindings on Line Pollard Opus skis or similar? My local ski shop said that because of the narrowness of the bindings and the width of the ski, they would struggle? Supposedly the radical bindings are actually fairly wide so I'm wondering if this is true. I was also wondering if there is any advantage of getting the FT over the ST (apart from the higher DIN), for example I read somewhere that the FT is slightly wider?

The ft had the carbon plate which the st does not. This will help a lot if you plan on skiing them pretty hard. Dynafit so don't have a forward pressure like an alpine binding. This can mean that counter flex if the ski can in extreme instances cause a prerelease. The carbon plate in the ft helps preventing the ski over flex. For hard free riding the ft will be the best bet. As for them on the opus. I have no personal experience of that set up I don't think it would be too bad. The opus is wide and quite heavy but as longer as your not trying to really charge there should be no issues.
