Use of the word "finna"

I just heard a white kid say "finna" at my 99% white catholic school in IOWA. What I want to know isn't the definition, but when its okay. He said it seriously too. I don't know what to think and this is the obvious first place to come.

At my school the term "finna" is used as "I'm gonna". Its retarded when I hear kids talking to their friends like they're black saying "oh yea bro finna get turnt as fuck wanna come to my place?"
I predict it will stop being used next year
