Transform an image

Would it be hard to take an image of a house, and turn it into a black and white silhouette image?
If this is something easy for someone to do let me know.

just cut the house out from the background, then just fill in the outline?

Specifically trying to outsource. And I am hoping I can get the windows to be yellow or something and some smoke from the chimney.
