What are people using to track their day on the snow? I am using Navionics Ski for iPhone.

Just started using Navionics: SKI. So far so good. lower mountain laps on the manmade are good exercise and all, but damn we need some snow to get some vert!!

There is some new snow in Southern Calif and with the cold weather they are making snow I will be going up on Friday for a weekend of skiing and use in the Navionics Ski app some more.

I use Strava for cycling but it also has a ski setting.

I have been using navionics ski app for the last couple of weeks and it has been great. You can take photos and they are ego tagged on your screen.

I have also just switched over to the Navionics app from two of the other tracking apps and really happy with the switch. Check out links that I got from a ski day at Beaver Valley (Ontario). Love it.

I've been using free apps like Alpine Replay and AllSnow, and they both have their plusses and minuses. Alpine Replay has a very easy to use interface and is fun to compare your days with your friends, but does not give you live stats unless you pay a ridiculous fee every month. AllSnow is great for snow conditions/forecasts, and shows the individual runs very well, but does not give you good stats collectively from the whole day.

Is it worth it to pay the dollar to get Ski Tracks or Navionics? Are they that much better?

I/m with Ron on this one, I have the Navionics_Ski app and deleted two other free apps I had as the Navionics app does so much more. Love the way i can look at the data on my iPad after the day, see pictures that are GEO tagged to the map of my runs. I have recommended this to some friends of mine that are new skiers, the trail map directions are priceless especially when the head to a bigger mountain that they don't know how to get down an easier route on or where the heck they are.

my friend uses the 1 dollar version of ski tracks. My phone never has service on the hill so i dont bother but its pretty sick to see how many runs you got, total mileage, and vert and stuff. Ski tracks tracks the day extremely thoroughly, all the stats are there for ya

I like tracking stats for the whole season so looking forward to starting with this in the next couple weeks and keeping it going into the spring.
