i think its because no one in the states accepts ownership for what happens as a result of gun violence and the network doesnt want to bear any responsibility.
if someone gets killed, everyone points the finger at the weapon, not the person. so not the family that produced the crazy kid, but daniel defense who put a gun in his hands. and then the nfl network or whoever airs this kind of commercial is automatically guilty by association and could catch some flak as a result.
so in order to protect themselves, they say fuck that shit. no gun advertisement on our network.

i dont know a thing about daniel defense, but i can see why the network would ban such a commercial. you dont want to give anybody a reason to point the finger in your general direction.
does my logic make sense? that's all that i can really come up with...
