I just brought my brand new 2013 AR7s into the shop to get mounted, and they said they'd be done by the end of the week, so I'm guessing I have a day or two to decide.
I told the tech to mount them at -2.5 because they're a non-symmetrical ski, and that's the most forward mount that's still over the side cut. I'm going to be skiing Whiteface this year, which has great terrain and a solid Park (for New York).
Will mounting at -2.5 affect park performance significantly? This ski will be my everything ski, and I initially said - 2.5 cause I wanted to be able to ski Whiteface's hardpack with a nice cambered ski. My last ski was center mounted K2 Revivals.
And I know there are other threads on this question, I've read all of them, but I just need to know quickly for my situation!
