Dude....you are being a huge, sensitive baby. You couldn't even take a minute to take out the 150 NS references, and/or at least make some TGR specific comments.
I really don't understand what you expected to come from this, and you posting this thread is just over the top in terms of self-centeredness.
First of all, I don't really think it's all that interesting of an idea. You aren't some famous pro on the level where kids will clamor to ski with you, so there's no novelty there.
Secondly, you plan to ski within the ropes at flattish, icy, snow starved, groomer dominated mountains in a region not exactly stacked with interesting, unique and challenging terrain. Like someone over at TGR said, some high school kid had an amazing out of bounds adventure, this in comparison just sounds really tame and anti-climactic. Like, I can see the appeal in wanting to ski as many places as possible, and wanting to be able to "say" that you did it, but this is just another example of what I see as out and out vanity in this age. What's inherently interesting about you skiing to me, or anyone else? I used to want to write about skiing, and then I realized, there's nothing special or enlightening about my experiences or my perspective. They're worthwhile to me, but that's about it.
I guess my question is this: Why not do what you set out to do without the fanfare and "look at me!" aspect? I think you'd have a way better time if you were less concerned with how to "present" your experience and more concerned with just actually taking it all in and being present.
I guess I felt like squashing this mostly because you got so butthurt that TGR didn't receive your idea with a "woooooow!!!". They weren't even all that harsh. At all.
