line reactor suspension frame

to anyone with reactors super glue, drill, nail, duck tape, melt them on or do anythign to amke sure the screws are in TIGHT, i don't own the bindings but just got done skiing with 2 friends who do and on the chronics and the nicks both suspension frames came loose. line should def get rid of their quick mount system because it unmounts just as fast as it mount. The sad thign is we were not hitting any large jumps. i think if line could get rid of this suspension frame they would have a much much better binding, but then again, it wouldn't 'react'.

for one thing use locktite
another thing, the heel and toe pieces share one spring, so they cant get rid of the middle frame, thats why they're so thick.

yes their quick mount sucks, and i was thinking if they are going to keep the suspension fram and quick mount system at least don't put the inserts directly in the middle, that makes it way more prone to make the whole frame swivel.

^ they have to mount it center like that to make it work. the whole binding moves when you eject and its pivots from the screw holes. i was wondering if this was going to be a problem due to they are are not screwed in as tight as other bindings, and the perminate threads prob don't help when trying to hold as tight as posible. this is deff a binding more for someone who is going to change their skis every few days of ridding.

they're not directly in the center, plus the suspension frame is there to allow the ski to flex without making the bindings squeeze ur boots... I dont have them tho, so I dont know about any durability/quality issues

EastCoast...your friends are now learning what its like to be a snowboarder, having to tighten your bindings all the time. You should have expeted this, and bought a tool along w/your bindings.

I have ridden them for several months, and have not had to tighten them once.

not center mounted on the ski, the binding is screwed in from a center mounting poin

yeah they are like snowboard bindings that need to be tightened and looked at before every day you ski

wierd, I have them and have been skiing on them form 2 months and they have not came loose once. And every thing that people say about losing an amount of control over the ski because of the 4 hole design is a lie.

yes. this is life like a snowboarder. bring a tool. make sure that they are tight. and watch out with the loctite... the whole idea is to be able to swap them from skis to skis.

Yeah im the kid with the mike nicks. The screws came loose that night, so i took them and tightened them as much as i could, this time not being a pussy. I skied a good solid 5 hours on them just jumping the night after, falling a couple times, and at the end of the night i checked if they were loose and couldn't move them. FOr the most part they seem to hold me in really well, so no complaints there. I just always find myself kind of worried durability wise. I guess if i can ski them for about the first month and i have no problems i'll trust them more, or send them back for some looks. Either way i'll be happy.

ummmmmm, i've ridden a pair of reactors on a pair of darksides for two seasons, and i've never touched the screws. i'm going to start though, because i just bought chronics...... so i'll see how it goes. i just think you need to tighten it and not be a wimp about it. not with a drill, but just SUPER hand tight.

if you are going to use loctite use the BLUE stuff...not and I repeat NO RED...but it would not hurt anything to just use blue if it owuld make you feel better...I just carry a screw driver with me and check them before each time I ski...no big deal
