It is definitely enjoyable. That way you can work on stuff that you've been having trouble with, and just focus on skiing and not hanging out. Sometimes I actually prefer skiing alone, really relaxing. However, I wouldn't trade an awesome day in the park with friends for anything. Keep in mind, you're out there skiing either way, so enjoy it.
full days are very long when your alone. And if your skiing pow and trees your legs get beat a lot faster since you dont stop to talk about sick the run is. Turn the headphones up and your set.
Im not a big fan of skiing alone, I can go for a couple hours with just music but I get bored pretty fast if I dont have friends to chill with. But that doesnt mean it couldnt work for you, to each his own. Everyone is different.
I like it more. Most of my good friends don't ski or snowboard so I usually have to make a compromise and ride with people I don't necessarily like that much. When I'm alone I can just take the singles line and get tons of fast laps, not to mention share the chair with some cuties once and a while.
Its definately not for everyone, but it can be pretty fun for me. You get to do whatever you want, and you generally get in more skiing. You should definately try it, you might like it
just meet up with people there. see a group, ask them if you could take a run with them. have had good times sessioning the park or woods with some people i met at the mountain.
No tunes needed. Really some of the best skiing is alone with just the sound of the mountain. Skiing alone is the only thing I miss about my wife's ACL injury. Skiing with friends is priceless too so don't pass it up but don't pass up your chance to ski alone.
Very true. Skiing with friends pushes you to progress faster because everyone is throwing down new tricks or atleast trying. In my opinion it's more enjoyable but nothing wrong with going it alone once in a while.
I enjoy it immensely. No one I am good enough friends with to ski with skis park, so I always get to meet new people, and not have any expectations. It's great
I love skiing alone. No one to hold you back. I ski with friends and fam most of the time but a day alone is like meditation. Put on some good music and have fun. If you're in the woods take a few minutes to stop and enjoy the silence
i ski alone a lot since no one at my college really skis park. it isn't terrible, i just listen to some music. pretty relaxing actually, great stress reliever
The person I ski with is kind of a pussy, so he doesn't push me and even if I push him he doesn't try anything. So it really doesn't make a difference to me whether I ski alone or with him.
