Hey NSers I need some help. Im pretty sure im getting fucked over on an ebay deal that went down. I received an email from paypal confirming a pending $40 payment..ALTHOUGH it said the buyer had to confirm arrival of the shipped item. That item was received 3 days ago and ever since..all communication has stopped. Im just wondering if anybody has any info about shit similar to this to find out if ive been scammed. I have the kids number and name (not sure if its his real name). HELP!

Dude, use your brain. Finding someone on NS to go to his house or something is fucking dumb. Use your tracking number and customer service via Ebay/Paypal and this can be easily handled. Be a big kid!

I may have it..ive got the tracking number etc. He sent me a fake paypal invoice..and blocked my phone number after he received the item. What a piece of shit.

Call him from different numbers at 4am?

Post shit on craigslist about free stuff being available at his house?

He could be using a fake address but he might not be.

I filed a police report with my local police department and they told me fraud leads to FBI matters...so in other words the officer told me that they would not take action.

This guy tried to scam me too about two weeks ago. Luckily I checked with PayPal before sending anything--they said that email is a spoof email because they always identify users by their first and last name. Both wire fraud and mail fraud are federal offenses with stiff penalties. You can report a cybercrime to the FBI using this link--http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx Also, I googled his phone number and found it used on several other sites. Good luck.
