Anyone as excited for this game as I am? It's going to come out for PS4 and XBox One, but there's already tons of gameplay videos up from people playing the pre-alpha versions on PC. It's going to blow away Forza and Gran Turismo.

Looks like it could have potential.

But I'm not getting my hopes up until it is out, and battle tested. Although I'd like to see this become the new simulator for my sim-rig.

no this is the reason it can be amazing. if they had to make one copy that could work on the outdated stuff in the xbox360 and ps3 then it'd just be forza. hopefully they can use the newest hardware to it's potential.

Seriously though. I've played both through the years, this just looks like another racing game with slighter better graphics on an entirely new system. That being said, if you could actually build a car with more customization options than forza this would be worth buying.

WHY HAVE I NOT HEARD ABOUT THIS YET? And it looks really fun and the graphics look beautiful, but to me it doesn't look very simulator-ish. More of an extremely fast pace racer. Definitely has potential though. I'd like to see more of it.

I also will point out the worlds fastest time on the Nurburgring is 6:48 and that guy just did it in well under 6 minutes.

If I get a ps4 when mass effect 4 comes out then I will get project cars for ps4 if not them probably pc. But deffinately not for another year or so.

Played it on PC....I am a little disappointed with the graphics, although that may be due to my extremely high expectations after watching the promo videos. Nonetheless, it's a very intense game that strives for immersion. The sound of drifting around a turn going 80 mph in a thunderstorm is amazing. While I think the $50 US is a bit steep, it's still a must purchase for any racing game enthusiast.

Just played this and it was pretty disappointing. It was a pre release version on pc. With a controller the game doesn't feel that great.

It doesn't feel as much of a sim as assetto corsa and the gameplay isn't as fun as forza 5. It's a weird balance between the two and the physics feel off. It may have been because I was playing with a controller and not a steering wheel but I'm really not a fan so far. Hopefully the final version has these problems fixed.

Once you use a wheel its a great game, you really gotta know how to go around a track. I know what you mean, my brothers the sim freak I kinda play for fun but no Forza, just shift 2 and dirt 3 and a few other rally games but if I want to do serious track racing I'll play Project cars

read a bit more about this, i guess one of the big features on it is how customizable the realism is. apparently there are a ton of options so you can dial in the perfect difficulty for you. i would assume the car customizations are quite extensive too.

I would still love to play this game but it seems every car has slicks and you can't change the tires...still a fun ass game to learn driving on a track

I have this game for PC with a g27 wheel. Took a while to set up but it's very good. I've played an asston of gran tursismo because it's always had pretty good physics, but project cars definitely beats it. It's a bitch to set the wheel up properly but once you get it figured out it's very realistic. The physics are much better than GT6, primarily with the tire model and track surfaces. You'll even encounter clat if you're off line. You drop a tire in this game, shit will go down. If your brakes/tires are cold, shit will go down. If your engine temps are off, your shit is slow.


THE ARCADE GAMEPLAY THOUGHHHH. All racing games, the AI is slow as shit. They're like roadblocks. In this game, if you put their difficulty to 100% you will need a well tuned car and very consistent driving to beat them, and they will race with you. Badass game overall as a simulator. Hopefully more cars will come.
