I was looking to get a new laptop for Robotic engineering/designing and i found two that i really like and i was just seeing if anybody had any tips on which laptop would help me out in the long run. Please help!!
I would get the 15" based off the size because I use a laptop for portability and 17" is pretty big to carry around campus every day. If you think you want to watch/edit a lot of media or play games I think the 17" is better based off the graphics card but I don't really know that much about the technical specs of computers.
if you want it for robotic engineering, look for a workstation graphics card. Robotics typically is a combination of mechanical and electrical engineering, and the workstation cards are very useful for parametric modeling and finite element analysis. Also, don't get a 17", 15" is already a pretty big laptop, and if you want the screen space, just get an external monitor.
