He probably made enough scrilla off of that one picture to pay for a whole year of just skiing, traveling, competing, etc. If anyone here had to choose between working a lame mountain or service industry job in order to ski, or striking a ski pose in your comp shorts in order to not have to work all year and just ski all the time, I'd be surprised to see anyone choose the former.

While fun to joke about and everything, you can fuck yourself if you dont think I would take $1,000+ to pose like this.

People who are seriously mad about this are being childish. Our sport has just been added to the Olympic Games, as much as you might not like it, the Olympics are THE world class event for sports. People dedicate their entire lives for the opportunity to even qualify for qualifying rounds. I know a swimmer who became depressed after not qualifying in OTs (olympic trials)



How to look at this picture if you're pissed off by it-
Sports like skating, skiing, surfing carry stigmas (thats a lot of Ss) to the regular world, a picture like this is intended to show that a park skier is still an outlying, top condition, peek performance athlete that has earned his way to the international stage of competition.

Yeah except they've been doing it for years and for all the Olympic sports. Who the fuck cares? Sponsors make you do dumb shit sometimes, this is nothing new.


I find it funny how this will cause a massive uproar but when Sarah and Kristi did the FHM mag shoot a while back, no one gave a shit... relatively speaking.


I'm just wondering why all you kids who have no skin in the ski industry care? All of you are are fanboy sheep, that's all. How does this affect you when you're out on the hill? Or is Dumont's rock hard manboy body causing some confusing feelings in your loins?

We all knew the Olmpics were going to produce some stupid shit, it's just surprising that Dumont doesn't look 3 ft. tall.

ya totally agree, people are getting way to worked up about the olympics. It's not going to change skiing for most of us and its still going to be fun as fuck. I mean ya it might make things a little different for a few people but for the most part its not going to effect 99% of us.

Also on a side note, everyone cares way to much about how they look on the hill. Honestly, try and look at it from another perspective, its pretty fucking gay.
