Replying to DSLR Help

Hello NS,

I was hoping to get some camera advice. I'm in the market for a DLSR and want to know what you think would be good. I'm planning on using it for skiing and general use - so I want it to take good stills and film in good quality. Priced around £350/$500ish. Ideally I'd like to be able to put together some clean edits. I live in the UK so I would use in the mountains when I can but predominantly in Snow Domes and Dryslopes.

I've been looking at

-Canon 550D t2i
-Nikon D3200

Any help/recommendations/criticisms appreciated
