Last time a got close to hugging a snowboarder was when I pushed him down a flight of stairs and cut his head on our winch. The blood in our hallway is warning for others....
Not always a guarantee. Dudes always sag the shit out of their pants, girls don't do that nearly as often. And if it's a dude, well, then I'm definitely not gonna offer some of my Fireball.
my homies are all mixed. dont even notice boards vs. skis. thought this shit was irrelevant these days? didnt we move past this? do whatever you like. stop caring about what other people do
I did a little more than hug a snowboarder...I married one.
I've mostly ridden with snowboarders in the past as well; about 90% riding with snowboarders, 8% riding solo, and 2% riding with other skiers to be honest. No hate here, and I honestly don't even understand what "hate" is even going on.
My one and only gripe is snowboarders on flats/uphills.
They have their own gripes about that as well Damn anyone who thinks that making a trail go up hill or across a mile long flat is a good idea for a downhill sport.
They need one of those magic carpet walkways like the airports.
Oh believe me, I know. I end up towing my wife over flats with a ski pole. More work for me, but it's way faster and better than standing around while she pushes herself up the hill and then has to clip in.
Uphills and flats really should not exist in a downhill oriented sport anyways. Skiers still have to skate up the hill, or use poles to push. Not too hard to do a little bit of dirt work or grading in the summer and call it good I mean this only for resort/lift accessed riding and not anything outside of the ropes.
