Can you shorten the 2012 line dart ski poles?

I have shortened my scott park poles but can with a line darts? I heard it was impossible but maybe they were trolling. Any help?

No you most definitely can. Just unscrew the grab tag, take out the screw, and pull that grip like a mother fucker, my line pin grips came of with relative ease.

I had the 2011 dart poles and I couldn't get the grip off so I took it to my shop who would gladly shorten my poles for me but they said that they could have done it but I would have either had to have a jerry rigged grip or the original one wouldn't have fit.
