It's the best feeling in the world. It's like skiing or snowboarding only...with a snowmobile. Same satisfaction. You do need to have the basics of sledding down, and if you get stuck DON'T pin it. You have one chance, but chances are you are just gunna dig a deeper hole and get stuck even more. Where do you ride at?

wiggle your sled side to side by rocking on the running boards and handle bars. Get someone to pull on the skis,
Or buy a snow bunge.

Apparently they have 3.5 feet of fresh powder, and are taking people out and its been a nightmare cause they are getting stuck like WHOA. I never been on a snowmobile other than on a packed trail.

If you get stuck you can either roll your sled or dig out one side and lift it over out of the hole.

mostly this. But just keep up your speed and if you need to stop, do it somewhere that has already been tracked, and if it's all pow, just circle around and stop in your own tracks. Digging your sled out of the snow sucks.

Would anyone say its better than skiing pow? Or just different, cause skiing pow is one of the best feelings (never ridden a sled)

It will feel like it is equal, maybe even a little better, but it can get boring after a while once you have it figured out. Usual a day or two early season of pure sledding gets it out of my system,

Its fuckin awesome. What i love about it, is that you get to see terrian that you would usually be able to see. Great adventure times!

UPDATE,

I went in very southern Colorado and it was BAD ASS. However 550 cc engines are kinda weak, I rode a 600 at the end and it was a MASSIVE difference!

was 3.5 feet then a few days of sun to let it settle. was up to the knee when i stepped off the sled.

I have always wanted to be pulled through deep powder behind a snowmobile like water skiing. maybe there could even be a way to make an artificial wake or something like if the sled was going between two little ridges that you could jump over or something.
