Anyone know if this exists? My biggest pet peeve is when my face mask or bandana gets soaked from my breath and freezes. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good facemask where this won't happen.
Get something wool, this will keep you warm even if it gets soaked and it's naturally antimicrobial so it won't smell.
In order to prevent fogging don't wear face masks over your nose. I wear an Icebreaker Merino wool Balaclava which is nice because it sits just below my nose while still keeping the rest of my face covered. I can also pull it under my chin and wear it that way if I need to vent some heat.
I only use merino wool, smartwool, icebreaker, or minus 33 all have great stuff. It's warm, it doesn't get stinky or gross, it won't fog your gog if you do it right, and I just love actual real fabric over plastic fibers all day every day until the end of days.
if OP can't muster a full on beard grow a 'stache. common misconception is that the most heat is lost on the top of your head when in fact its the upper lip. (trust me, I'm in college)
keep that baby furry and you'll get warm in a hurry
I've always used an Under Armour hood. A bit pricey, but they do their sweat wicking shit right. It's the only thing that has always kept me cold and never frozen up.
